Beaver Scouts are boys and girls aged 6-8 years old; the youngest section of the Scouting family. We meet on a Monday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.

Keyworth has been running a successful Beaver colony for over 15  years, meeting during term time, where the children take part in a wide range of activities. These include games, crafts, sports, trips out, learning about the world, and getting outdoors as often as we can. We encourage the children to try new things, make new friends, develop new interests, and most importantly, have fun!

Everything we do at Beavers is based around a balanced programme, which provides the opportunity to earn a number of badges, further details of which can be found on the Scout Association website.  Keyworth Beavers is led by Sam, Mel and Caroline, assisted by Emma, Marcus and parent helpers.  Additionally, Explorers completing their Duke of Edinburgh service lend us a hand.
