The Group spent the Bank Holiday at the District Camp at Hollygate, where 400 young people and adults had a great time.  1St Keyworth Scouts took 41 Cubs, Scouts and Explorers plus 10 adults with 16 Beavers joining us on the Sunday.

The main activities during Saturday and Sunday were, climbing, fencing, archery,  go-karting, five different bouncy castles and a huge variety of other things to do.

The theme this year was a medieval fayre with stalls and our own currency, the Rushcliffe Readie, three camp fires for the three age ranges and films for the Cubs and Scouts.  On Saturday there was also a picnic for all 400 campers on the main field.

100 Beaver Scouts joined the camp on Sunday to join the activities and try their hand at some extras like tent pitching, fire lighting and emergency aid.
